Muditā (Pāli and Sanskrit: मुदिता) means joy; especially sympathetic or vicarious joy. Also: the pleasure that comes from delighting in other people’s well-being. The traditional paradigmatic example of this mind-state is the attitude of a parent observing a growing child’s accomplishments and successes. Mudita should not be confounded with pride as a person feeling mudita may not have any interest or direct income from the accomplishments of the other. Mudita is a pure joy unadulterated by self interest. When we can be happy of the joys other beings feel, it is called mudita; the opposite word is envy or schadenfreude.

Since a decade, I’m fully committed to the transformative path of yoga. My mission and passion is to inspire my students to awaken to their full potential, to dare to shine. The infinite possibilities in us and practice of yoga with me: coming home to your body, heart and soul. Sense of:

When I discovered Yoga in 2004 it was a revelation, a home coming to my body, heart and soul. I felt a strong calling to share the gifts of this ancient practice. I transmit my passion since I became a registered yoga teacher in 2009. In 2013 I completed a further 100 hour training with Tara Judelle and in 2015 a module in  “Embodied Flow™.” I am immensly inspired by this revolutionary school of yoga. It means feeling your body from the inside. As we give awareness to all parts of our body, it creates wellness and support. So practicing and being becomes more effortless. On this path of awakening, my aim is to let myself fully experience life, embrace all of my feelings, all of my parts. Through conditionings we sometimes believe that we need to “fix” ourselves, improve, etc. What if we are already completely perfect with our imperfections? What if we let go of all the “shoulds?” What if we just allow ourselves to be? Reconnect to our essence? I am so passionate about supporting and encouraging women through their life cycles. In my pre and postnatal classes and in the mum’s circles I am hosting, I am offering nourishment and connection. I adore being  joyful and playful with my friends and my kids. I love dancing, singing and hugs! Growing up in the Bernese mountains, I also lived for 10 years in Australia before settling in Vaud in 2004. I speak English, French and Swiss German. I offer pre-and postnatal classes, women’s circles, yoga therapy, privates, group classes, workshops and retreats.
